Environment Control is hiring a Full-time janitorial Floater/fill-in team member in the general Spokane area. The responsibilities of this position include basic janitorial work, daily travel in your own vehicle, utilization of smart phone for work tasks, and strong commitment to completing all assigned work tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a willingness to stay and help until all the nightly jobs are completed. This position has a schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, with varying end times. This position primarily covers the greater Spokane area with occasional travel to the Valley. Position requires use of own vehicle.

What a Floater does:
- Empty trash, sanitize touchpoints, and make spaces shine.
- Keep bathrooms fresh and stocked (yes, we provide gloves!).
- Communicate regularly with supervisor.
- Utilize own smartphone to access electronic ticketing system.
- Utilize own vehicle to travel to different assignments on a nightly basis.
- Handle keys and secure buildings responsibly.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle due to the nature of the position.
- Must have working smart phone due to the nature of the position.
- Capable of lifting 30 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs, and performing physical tasks such as bending, walking, and general movement.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Able to read and follow simple instructions in English (Intermediate – Level 2).
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Janitorial experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
